Questions before you begin?
Will the people in the photo still look like themselves?
That’s one of the first things we check. A person compares every face with your original, and your proof shows each face up close. We don’t invent faces, or add or remove people. If detail is missing from the original, we’ll tell you rather than make it up.
Do you use AI?
Our proprietary software blends human expertise with photo-editing techniques to prepare, improve and upscale images. You approve the final image before print.
I don’t have a scanner. Is a phone photo good enough?
Usually, yes. Lay the print flat by a window, hold your phone straight above it and take the picture without flash. We’ll let you know if another photo would help.
Do I have to mail you the original?
No. You send us a photo of it, so the original never leaves your hands.
My photo is tiny, torn or very faded. Can you still use it?
Possibly. The original sets the limit. We may suggest a smaller image in a wider mat rather than enlarging it until it looks soft. If we can’t make a print we’re proud of, we’ll tell you and refund you in full.
The photo is at my mom’s house. What do I do?
Ask her to snap it on her phone and text it to you, then upload it here.
Can you put a black-and-white photo in color?
Yes, at no extra cost. Color on a black-and-white original is our best interpretation, so you can tell us hair, eye and clothing colors, and change anything on your proof. Or keep it black and white or sepia.
What size will it be?
Frames come in 10, 12 and 16 inches on the short side. The long side follows your photo’s shape, so nothing is cropped. On the wall, the 12-inch is up to about 13 × 17 inches. We’ll recommend the largest size your photo can support.
When will it arrive?
Your proof arrives within 48 hours. Once you approve it, we print, frame and ship it, and email you tracking.
What if I, or they, don’t love it?
Tell us within 30 days of delivery. Choose a free revision and replacement, including shipping, or a full refund. You don’t need to return the frame.
Can you send it straight to the person it’s for?
Yes. We ship to any address in the contiguous US.
What happens to my family photo?
